I couldn't help but notice that you didn't practice social distancing while loading the cylinder!!

Well, as a "Gen-X'er", I LOVE Smith & Wesson's Model 29. I owned 2 in my lifetime (52 years)....a 6 1/2" model and a 8 3/8". LOVE the "N-Frame"! Recessed cylinder and pinned barrel! A-1! AND! On the 8th Day, God created Smith & Wesson!
Comment on: Saturday, May 9th, 2020 by JOHN MARTIN
Love me. If you are new to these recessed revolvers you must keep that cylinder clean. Dirty ammo or lack of care and the casing will not seat in the recess and it will stop the gun. Keep em clean.

This video is some good time spent during the crisis. That range looks like good fun. S&W revolvers are beautiful works of machinery.

Just want to thank you for all the things you do, Second amendment awareness, safe gun etiquette, gun handling, gun techniques and training, gun reviews. That being said youve also cost me a lot of money too lol, benelli m4, s&w model 29-10, double Glocks. Can you do a review on a new s&w 29 classic series?

Hi guys I have a home defense question & need opinions. I own a glock 19 gen 3 and glock 20 10mm gen 4 and a S&W .357 4 inch barrel model 19. I'm debating should I get an AR or shotgun for home defense do i really need it? I have 9 extra magazines to my glock 19 gen 3 and 9 extra to my glock 20 gen 4 in case of numerous attackers or fire-fight. Should I absolutely spend $ and get an AR or will my handguns do me fine? Even if the attackers have ARs and I only have handguns because money wise I'm not rich I'd like everyone's opinion and thanks guys.

I'm in my mid-30s and my first two revolvers were a 27-2 and 28-2. I still enjoy shooting the modern ones but the pinned and recessed era Smiths have ruined for me anything else.

I wonder, back before money was a non issue and guns were not a major source of income, did Hickok tell his wife every time he bought one? I still don't. I told my son-in-law just yesterday, "after I'm gone please don't let my wife sell these for what she thinks I have invested". You know I have watched all 1800 of Hickok's videos. I think I will take a shower now and grab a bite to eat.

well good morning to you mr Hickok. Well I'll tell you I love that little gun you got in your hand. I've spoke to you before and told you all I have are 2 with the 8 and 3/8 inch barrels and I would like to have one of those for concealed carry. You know I guess I help out Smith & Wesson, a friend of mine just the other day said he had bought a new model 629 stainless with a 6-inch barrel because he really liked those that I had. I've got other friends that have also bought new and used ones for the very reason that they like the way they shot when they tried mine. All except my brother-in-law that I mention and after he split his thumb he was pretty much done with them. I wished I had from 44 special brass because I've got some age on me and my hands aren't quite as meaty as they used to be and Magnum rounds can give these old arthritis hands some problem. You know I have had an inkling for a double shoulder holster for my 29 I had checked a couple of places and tried to do this chat thing on the computer and it didn't work out but I got a call back from the gentleman about making me a shoulder holster for my Model 29 8 3/8 inch barrel. Well I told him I wanted doubles but he wanted to go up into the $500 range so I decided I might just want a single and we've been talkin. Well now if it's a lie he's the one that told me but he said that his daddy is the one that made the shoulder holster for the movie Dirty Harry! Well that's kind of the shoulder holster I would like to have and he said he could actually add some Speed Loader pockets on the other side which would be kind of good. not that you would ever need to reload because if you have to draw one and shoot it twice I mean whoever is still standing are going to run like hell! But I've talked with him and I think we've just about worked out a price on just a single holster and I hope to get started on it soon. But I'd really like to have one like you have with a 4in barrel to carry. but he's going to make this one with the springs and the holster so that you don't have to draw it over your head to get it out of the holster you just pull it up, and clear the cylinder and pop it out. But hey enjoyed your video as always and happy shooting from the old boy in LA. (Lower Alabama) haha. Good day

I feel as while 3"-4" revolvers are the best for carrying, 6"-6 1/2" hit the highest revolver aesthetic physically possible. Also, I'm sure you already do, but if haven't be sure to get your lead levels checked, Hickok. Shower and switch your clothes after shooting, get your calcium and iron in, etc. Wouldn't want to lose the world's greatest gunslinger early on account of poisoning.
