Talking and shooting. Well, since my dad's gun hung up, I suppose this week it's WAY more talking than shooting. I'll make up for that next Sunday. :-)

Flew up to Tennessee for my brother's wedding and fell in love with the beauty of its landscape also checked out the Smokey mountains wow talk about a Christmas postcard like view . I didn't want to leave. Maybe if I'm lucky enough to live that long I wouldn't mind retirement there.

I grew up in the suburbs of Boston and moved to rural New Hampshire. I drive a tractor trailer for a living and am exposed to our big beautiful country for a living. But in my personal time? I burrow about in the New Hampshire mountains and forest with my collection of fire arms.

The reason theirs all this nany state safety stuff is that they Legally have to cover themselves. Here in the UK near where I work their was a case where a women parked motor-home/RV on a hill and left the handbrake off . the bitch actually successfully managed to win a court case over the Manufacturers because it didn't say you couldn't park a RV on a hill without the handbrake off. It may of been a flook (and i don't know what she actually got) but that isn't even the land of the Suing(US) . If people get even the smallest grounds to sue they will try their hardest to do so

I know one of my Dad's friends is 50+ but with heart problems. His older brother and father are the only other members in his family and are vulnerable to this disease, so theoretically it could wipe out his hole family. so its easier just to isolate those 3

I hope firearms bring my son's as much entertainment as they do me! Someday when they're older (they're 15 months and 2 months) it'll be neat to show them these Hickok45 videos, and tell them how they really sparked my interest further.

We have an over dependence on technology and an under dependence in the human mind. A good example is look what Einstein accomplished with just his mind and think how much more he could have accomplished using modern technology not depending on technology. Technology should be used as a tool to argument communication and crystallize ideas and information and to assist in working collaboratively . Much is lost when technology is the sole means of working together as opposed to working together in a physical group to solve a problem and using technology to assist and work more efficiently and effectively to solve a given problem or in developing new ideas and new technologies. Its people working together that solve and create and technology just makes the process more efficient.it s people to people skills that are important and that is something that is being lost these days with some much focus dependence of technology and not on working as a team as people to create and solve. I also have a J.P. Saur and Sons Western Marshall in blued .44 Magnum. It's a good gun, I bought it used in the 1980's. Not the jewel of my collection by any means, but still a good revolver. I'm pleased to see Hickok45 has one too! :-)

Howdy. Have you been able to free up that German SAA clone? I had a model 19 freeze up like that. After finally getting it opened I found the firing pin hole in the bushing had formed a ridge like a crater has. Probably formed by too much .357 use. I greased all holes and took a fine file to it till it was flat and flush with the recoil shield. Taking care to not get filings in the mechanism. Just my $0.02. Good luck.

You're a great human and a lot of fun to watch, Hickok45! Maybe when you get to heaven you'll finally have the time to meet all those who have watched your videos and enjoyed your friendship over the years. That would be neat!

New to the channel. I really enjoyed this episode, it reminded me of growing up shooting with my Grandfather. Learning how to shoot and learning about life is what it was all about. I would love to see maybe a whole video on shooting safety just to reinforce the basics from a seasoned shooter like Hickok. Also how about a video on shooting techniques, no matter what gun he picks up he hits every shot.

Listening to you talk about TN and seeing you walk through the woods reminds me of my youth. I was born in DC, but moved to Bluefield, WV to live with my grandparents the month Kennedy was assassinated. We lived outside of town on 40 acres. I played in the woods constantly, had a pony and a dog, and loved every minute of it. No cable, internet, or video games. I had imagination and the woods. Live in Georgia now in a small town.

Your idea of opening up the country and letting people choose is a great idea. What if you choose to stay in, and they open up the comedy clubs, and your son gets a 4 day tour? He goes out and does his show and talks with people, touches the mic and equipment back stage. Maybe he is now infected and doesnt know it. He comes over to your house to shoot videos now he has brought it to your safe haven and you never left the house. Its something to think about. I have lost 5 healthy acquaintances to this crazy virus in the last month.

An idea for a topic could be the guns of Delf 'Jelly' Bryce. I understand his favorite or "lucky" gun was a 44 special. Many people don't know who this is and it would be a neat story to go with the guns.
