[NRA 2019] Naroh N1 Slim Single Stack 9mm Pistol

From TFB TV on Thursday, May 2nd, 2019 in Reviews, Pistols, Concealed, Handguns, & Videos
00:03:48
In this episode of TFBTV’s #NRAAM2019 coverage, James visits Naroh Arms for the ‘skinny’ (LOL pun) on Naroh’s new N1 single stack 9mm pistol. Naroh has already been in the gun business, manufacturing AR-15 parts and accessories, but they’ve decided to try their hand at manufacturing pistols, now, and they are starting with the ever-popular single stack 9mm category. They are no making an inexpensive 7+1 9mm pistol for the civilian market.
From TFB: “Naroh Arms has reported that they will be releasing their first handgun, the Naroh N1, at NRAAM 2019. Until now the company has specialized in providing high-quality machined OEM components. With this release, they are broadening their base. The N1 is a subcompact 7+1 9mm Luger handgun, designed for concealed carry. While Naroh has not yet released the overall height, the pistol’s overall length is just 6.1″, making it ever so slightly shorter than the Glock 43 while carrying a single extra round.”

DAO? No thanks. I was hoping it had a trigger like the Ruger LCP II which is also hammer fired.
Shaytan Rajeem Saturday, May 18th, 2019
Is Norah all american made or pass ?

The "no trigger pull" takedown arguement/sales pitch is so old, boring and STUPID. Please, please, tell me any firearm that should not be cleared and made safe before take down is started? What about pointed in a safe direction? Oh that's right, there are none! Please stop using this garbage statement. Other than that, this looks like a neat gun. I dig the 7075 chassis, lightening pockets on the slide, G43 sights compatiblity(very smart), front cocking serrations, changeable grip modules and honestly the price for a new model gun from a fairly new American company is quite fair. There's something to be said for not trying to reinvent/revolutionize the handgun as your first real firearm offering. I mean, look what happened to Hudson, just to name a recent example...

Too much for what it is. A lot of better options out there. Maybe 150$ I would buy lol.

Actually looks like a pretty good little carry pistol until I found out it has a DOUBLE ONLY Internal Hammer Trigger!!!
randall burkhart Sunday, May 5th, 2019
Generic version of sigs p365 😁😁
Stelio Effrena Saturday, May 4th, 2019
So this pistol introduces literally nothing new whatsoever... I guess more options is always good, but I feel like many are not even trying...
Gōdon Gurando Friday, May 3rd, 2019
The pistols got stuck in there like they are prepared for buttf...
Jordan VanWormer Friday, May 3rd, 2019
I mean, I like it, but maybe it’s a couple years too late for anyone to make any new guns in that size. I feel like full or compact sized guns are gonna make a huge comeback in about a year or so.
SLFYSH Friday, May 3rd, 2019
I want to see some reviews of this pistol. It offers very attractive and practical features! Some reference to what kind of support the company will offer behind their product also has huge influence, (especially since they’re new on the market).
Josh F Friday, May 3rd, 2019
Single stack polymer DAO? y tho?
LossVegas Friday, May 3rd, 2019
Very interesting. As someone who likes to pocket carry, I'm glad to see more micro 9's coming out.
Trae UCity Friday, May 3rd, 2019
Another polymer, single stack 9mm. (yawn)
Short Round Friday, May 3rd, 2019
It looks like a KelTec PF9 made to look like a Sig P365.
Juiceman Friday, May 3rd, 2019
I kinda like this concept. Especially, if they are good quality at the price point they mention.
Machine gun DAD. Friday, May 3rd, 2019
The Hudson comes to mind.
Scripzing Friday, May 3rd, 2019
Look a sig 365! Maybe this one works better than the sig 365. Mine broke after 103 rounds...
grumpybill Friday, May 3rd, 2019
Do you remember when a 7+1 was being under gunned? Pepperidge Farms does.
Michael Parker Friday, May 3rd, 2019
Taurus pt111 g2 look alike
Alexander M Friday, May 3rd, 2019
I like the idea, though like others mentioned it would've been better to add more rounds. Maybe only have the upper half of the frame be aluminum reinforced so as to make more room for a wider mag bottom?
Vicarium Friday, May 3rd, 2019
James, loving the 80s Vangelis-esque closing soundtrack.
Jonny'sDomain Friday, May 3rd, 2019
Idk I kind of want it. Good price point and a good looking gun in my opinion.
duroSIG556R Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
Nothing new to the table.
Sdsdfdu Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
I appreciate the hammer but why double action only? And how can it be 6lb?
gstea1 Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
Looks like a higher quality 365
Yung Blac Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
This looks almost exactly like a sig p365
Dietzeeeee Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
OMG a hammer fired single stack 9mm for CCW.... Finally a Double/Single action Single stack that will fulfill my CCW needs..... oh wait... double action only..... Forget about it....
TheDallasdeadeye Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
A hightech keltec p11?
Young Cowboy Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
DAMMIT they should've made it a 10+1 and have a budget Sig p365
Ga Driller Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
7+1 👎 a lot of innovation needed to catch up to 365 capacity.
xmeda Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
Make it SA/DA with exposed hammer :)
iDeagles Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
another single stack 9mm yay zzzzzzz
Maximus Joseppi Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
should have made it take 365 mags... fail
IIDASHII Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
7+1 sub-compacts are sooooo 2015.
Marc Pascual Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
Apx or naroh?
Edwin V Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
This will go the way of the Hudson H9
Zachary B Way Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
Way to make a super lame and unexciting pistols guys, what's next year models another 9mm. It's 2019 and yall still living in 1980 with all these polymer 9mm. We need some dude in a skin tight shirt to show the gun community about other rounds. Try and make something cool like a 357mag polymer double stack or a 223 revolver. Yall encourage these companies to make the same **** every year by buying this crap. I don't care if the trigger is good or its a cm smaller. But hey I'm just a Texas fudd who carrys a 1911 or a revolver anyways.. what would I know right.
Mas Kito Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
Hmmmmm
checkyoursix Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
By the way, thanks for all the great video she's brought us
checkyoursix Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
I'm as tired of polymer guns as I am is tired of polymer sights. with all the amazingly strong and lightweight alloys we have today there is no reason we should be making guns out of plastic or sights for that matter. It looks like they got most but not all of the things right on a concealed carry gun. I'll definitely buy one and shoot it next to a few others that I have to compete for space on my side for daily carry
William Lazaroff Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
Salesmen seems nice but lacks energy and that will dramatically hurt the product. He didn’t get James excited at all and we all know how easy that is to do .
Ramon Herrera Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
Naroh? Is it, uhh, narrow?
mdoe8 Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
Really wish it was double/single. Still waiting for something small enough in that category
Chris F Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
Soon to come in a compact double stack Smol and a full-size Beeeg model
Neilis Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
Sounds good. They did a good job of placing it at a price people will actually try. Too often a new company will introduce a gun that they think is uber-special and throw a price tag of double what the average gun sells for on it. At this price I can afford to gamble.
B. Hessing Thursday, May 2nd, 2019
So it's an expensive PF9?
